‘Avatar’ was released as a bare-bones Blu-ray/DVD combo pack earlier this year on Earth Day (April 22).
The Collector’s Edition will be a three disc set and will include the extended cut of the film with sixteen additional minutes of footage, which includes a deleted opening sequence on Earth, plus another forty-five minutes of unfinished material will be included in the set, along with the documentary A Message from Pandora.
Suggested list price still hasn’t been revealed yet.
You can find the latest specs for ‘Avatar: Collector’s Edition’ linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it’s tentatively indexed under November 16.
